Patta Chitta Overview

Patta Chitta is a document for every parcel of land in Tamil Nadu that includes both the Patta as well as Chitta. Up until 2015, the Patta and Chitta were two separate documents. The documents were combined into a TN Patta that includes the entire set of related material.

Chittas no longer are sold individually. The government of Tamil Nadu proposed that the traditional Patta Chittas (ePattas) would be replaced with digital TN Patta Chittas to improve connectivity among its citizens.
